Frequently Asked Questions

Miniature Collectors, Painting Hobbyists & RPG Enthusiasts

What scale are your miniatures?

Most of our miniatures are in 35mm to 75mm scale—perfect for RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder. We also offer select large-format models. Fantastic Miniatures are designed for collectors, painters, and gamers.

What materials do you use?

Our miniatures are crafted from a high-performance Japanese and Swiss polyurethane blend. This exclusive material ensures fine detail, smooth surfaces,  and long-lasting durability.

Are your miniatures assembled?

Fantastic Miniatures come unassembled and unpainted, giving hobbyists complete creative freedom. Each part features precision connector pins for easy and accurate assembly. No sanding or prep work required—they’re polished and ready for paint.

Do your miniatures come in a sprue?

No. We do not use sprues. Instead, each piece is separated and securely organized in an elegant, protective art box for a premium unboxing experience. No clipping or cleanup required.

Are your miniatures easy to build?

Absolutely. Every part has been engineered with precision connector pins to simplify positioning and gluing. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hobbyist, you’ll find assembly smooth and satisfying. Simply dry-fit and glue—no trimming or sanding needed.

What kind of glue works best?

We recommend using cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for a quick and strong bond. Avoid plastic cement—it’s not suitable for our polyurethane material.

Do I need to sand or finish the miniatures before painting?

Not at all. Fantastic Miniatures are meticulously hand-polished, so you can jump right into priming and painting without any surface prep. Just wash gently with soap and water to remove any residue.

Are your miniatures primed or ready to paint?

They are unprimed but paint-ready. We recommend using an acrylic primer before applying your base coats. We suggest washing them with mild soap and water before applying your favorite primer. This removes any remaining release agent and ensures paint adhesion.

What kind of paints work best?

We recommend high-quality acrylic miniature paints such as Vallejo, Citadel, Army Painter, Reaper, Scale75, and Pro Acryl. Our miniatures are highly detailed, making them perfect for layering, dry brushing, glazing, and other popular miniature painting techniques.

Each piece is developed with fine-art sensibility and RPG flair. You can expect our future miniature collections to also feature renowned artists and signature models.

Are Fantastic Miniatures meant for gameplay or display?

Both! Fantastic Miniatures are fine art collectibles, meticulously crafted for painters, collectors, and RPG enthusiasts. While most are designed in game scale and can be used in tabletop sessions, every piece is a work of art—stunning on display and cherished by hobbyists who appreciate exceptional detail and craftsmanship. Select editions are available in larger sizes, created specifically for artistic expression and visual impact.
